My primary goal is to continually learn and update my skills to best meet clients needs.  I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of people in multiple settings with almost ten years experience in the counseling field. 

Part of my experience has included working with adults, couples and families seeking help voluntarily or who were required to attend counseling.  Currently a portion of my work includes running regular therapy groups with children, in a residential setting, whom often have come from the many small Alaskan villages. 

My dedication, creativity and experience are what I bring into each session, maintaining an open mind and offering a safe environment to assist with change and growth.  I offer compassion, respect and an empathetic stance to my clients, helping each to empower themselves--to make better choices and achieve their goals.
